£90 million boost for the Great British Coast

Businesses and communities across the Great British Coast, including in Morecambe and Lunesdale could be sailing towards a cash windfall.Creative coastal entrepreneurs can from today bid for a share of £90 million government funding available UK-wide over the next 4 years to support their plans to reel in jobs and revitalise our much-loved seaside areas.

David Morris MP visits Lancaster Rowing Club

David Morris MP was recently invited to meet with members of Lancaster John O Gaunt Rowing Club at their site on Halton Road in Skerton. The invitation came following the flooding the club were subjected to in December 2016 and was an opportunity for David Morris MP to see the progress the club had been able to make with the repairs as a result of the Sport England funding for clubs whose equipment and premises had been damaged following flooding.

On Friday David Morris MP met with Antony Crowley from Costain to tour the newly named Bay Gateway. David Morris MP visited site to see the progress on the project and to see for himself how quickly you will be able to travel from the M6 into the heart of his constiuency.
