The Morecambe & Lunesdale MP David Morris is urging constituents to support his campaign to keep Skerton High School open. Constituents are being urged to write to Lancashire County Council but also to their local County Councillor.
David Morris MP said:
“I have been informed that the consultation commences soon and I would like constituents to write to the County Council in support of my campaign to keep Skerton High School open.”
“It also stands to reason that constituents should also contact their local Lancashire County Councillor to ask them to oppose the proposed closure by Lancashire County Council too."
David Morris MP will present a petition to Parliament in the coming weeks and is also scheduled to meet with Ministers in the Department of Education. Anyone wishing to sign David’s petition can contact david by clicking contact on this website.
There will also be a consultation event held on 9th October and David is urging as many people as possible to attend.
