David Morris MP spent most of Friday morning at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, the purpose of the visit was to talk to staff and patients about the hospital and health in general. During the visit, the Morecambe & Lunesdale MP visited Accident & Emergency, Ward 39, Oncology, the Maternity Ward and the Children’s Ward.
Speaking from the RLI David Morris MP said:
“I have spent a lot of time over the last few years talking to regulators and talking to Ministers about improving the RLI. I wanted to spend some time this year talking to patients and staff about how the hospital is improving and what can be done to further improve things at the RLI. Also it was important to me to say thank you to the staff.”
David is planning to visit the hospital on a regular basis to track progress.
