The Morecambe & Lunesdale MP David Morris is today welcoming the Government’s announcement which will help make running a car cheaper.
The price of an MOT will be frozen until 2015, those fraudulently claiming whiplash will be targeted with a new independent panel and the government is also proposing the introduction of new signs on motorways that will allow drivers to see the prices of fuel to allow drivers to decide which service station is the cheapest for them to refuel.
Speaking from Westminster David Morris MP, Patron of the Alliance of British Drivers (ABD) said:
"I am very pleased that the government has made today’s announcement. Whiplash fraud costs every driver in expensive insurance premiums. I hope that by reducing the number of whiplash claims hard working families here in Morecambe & Lunesdale will notice a reduction in the cost of motoring.”
