The party and the constituency has an MP it can be rightly proud of”.

Following his readoption David Morris MP said:

‘I am delighted that Morecambe and Lunesdale Conservative Association have reaffirmed their support for me and have completed the formal process to allow me to stand again as a Conservative at the next general election.

In 2010 I stood on a manifesto of change and secured the delivery of the M6 Link Road. We are now starting to see the economic benefits to our area. I am only just beginning with my plans for regenerating our area, with Eden on the Horizon there is a lot to play for and I will be at the forefront of these plans ensuring that Morecambe and Lunesdale attracts even more investment for this and the next generation to truly put us back on the map.

Morecambe is on the up and I will be spearheading our area to even greater things in the future.’
