The Northern Reaches of the Lancaster Canal were filled in the 50's and 60's. I want to see this waterway re-opened to connect our canal systems up which will create more jobs and tourism.
The canal towpath is a gem which if regenerated will improve wellbeing for local people and create a safe space to walk and potentially cycle.
The Eden Project creates scope for our area to be a hub of green tourism.
