The Eden Project will increase the number of visitors to the area, including to and from the Isle of Man. David wants to solidify this relationship by improving the facilities at Heysham Port for passengers accessing the IOM Steam Packet. He wants to see regeneration of the facilities for cars getting on and off the ferry and also wants to see renovation of the railway station at Heysham Port for passengers.
David has already held meetings with stakeholders at the Port, the Isle of Man Government and the Isle of Man SteamPacket to come up with a proposal to deliver this regeneration scheme.
