‘Great to meet staff at Royal Lancaster and see how a learning culture is helping to transform their quality of care’
David Morris MP said:
‘I was delighted to welcome Jeremy Hunt MP to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Following the Trust been taken out of special measures in December 2015 it is a credit to the Trust that the Secretary of State wanted to come and see for himself the positive things that are happening in our Trust locally.
It is no secret that the Trust has faced negative press locally in the past and it is a huge morale boost for staff to be visited by the Secretary of State and be told you are doing a good job. As the Member of Parliament I am immensely proud of all of the staff at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for their resilience and their commitment to delivering excellent patient care.’
